It all started back in primary school, where I really enjoyed doing the title pages for all my subjects, in high school I got started in the very early development of graphic design when Quark and Mac were being introduced so I got some experience with that. After High School I took various programs from Youth Art and Culture to Cooking, with some of the programs I was able to utilize my hobby of graffiti to help create numerous murals around Vancouver. A worker noticed my creative skills and had told me about a six month graphic design class being made by a veteran designer, being held at a local business downtown. I was very interested in this course and flourished after learning all the technical aspects of this course and applying my creative side as well, however with little experience in the field I worked in production and manufacturing, after which another program was created in Print Technology a nine month course after finishing that I got hired by the original instructor in the first course I took where I worked project based for about three years, with sporadic jobs I decided to expand my skills and went to Vancouver Film School’s Digital Design course where I received my diploma, still nothing permanent I took a four month entrepreneur course, where I then was able to create a small business, a creative boutique offering Graphic Design, Motion Design, Videography and basic Web Site creation, this business is called Skylz Design Studio, where I am today.
